USDA Loans

A USDA home loan is a 0% down payment mortgage for eligible rural and suburban owner- occupied homebuyers who cannot qualify under more traditional sources. Generally, for lower income applicants, borrowers are given the opportunity to purchase a home with lower interest rates, however mortgage insurance is required. USDA loans are issued through the USDA loan program, also known as the USDA Rural Development Guaranteed Housing Loan Program, by the United States Department of Agriculture.  Requirements are:

  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Eligible Rural or Suburban property
  • Owner Occupied
  • Acceptable credit
  • Minimum of 2 year consistent income

Please keep in mind most loan eligibility requirements and guidelines do have exceptions and are reviewed on a case by case basis.
